Anna Winger is an American-British screenwriter, novelist and essayist, creator of the television series Deutschland83/86 (Amazon) and founder of Studio Airlift in Berlin. Her work has appeared in The New York Times Magazine and on NPR Worldwide. Winger was raised in Kenya, Massachusetts and Mexico, and studied at Columbia University in New York. She has received Emmy, Peabody and Adolf Grimme awards for her work. Her new series, Unorthodox (Netflix), will release in early 2020.
