Professor of History
Robert Gerwarth is Professor of Modern History at UCD and currently also serves as Head of UCD’s School of History. He has published and edited more than ten books, most recently The Vanquished: Why the First World War Failed to End (Penguin). His work has been translated into some thirty languages.
