Actor, Singer & Comedienne
Susannah has been working as an actor, singer and comedienne for 21 years. She has been a regular on the Abbey Theatre stage performing “An Ideal Husband”, “The Shaughraun” and “Living quarters” to name a few. Her other roles include “I Keano”, “Dancing at Lugnasa” and “King Lear”. Musically her tribute shows to Peggy
Lee, Ella Fitzgerald and Blossom Dearie have won critical acclaim both here and abroad. Ms de Wrixon has recorded 4 albums featuring several of her own songs. She has toured with the musical comedy trio “The Nualas” for over two years and it is thanks to those girls that she continues to hone her style fronting her own shows. TV and film include “Fair City” and “The Clinic” and Ballykissangel. Susannah has shared stages with Rosaline Linehan, Mary Coughlan and the National Symphony Orchestra and is a regular performer at the National Concert Hall, Dublin. She is just back from a French tour of “ Love and War” with the Delmaine String Quartet where they were received most enthusiastically at the Irish Cultural Centre, Paris. She will shortly be seen in the new RTE TV series “Striking Out”.
