One of the buzzy events of the morning was Michael McCormack’s appearance where he spoke about Solar Bones and writing in general with Paula Shields. He was there with his publishers, the wonderful Dublin-based Tramp Press.

We had the incredible deep dive into the world of bankers with journalist and writer Joris Luyendijk in conversation with Dearbhail McDonald.
Then we had an all star team of Irish writers with Paul Murray, Donal Ryan, Danielle McLaughlin, and Sinead Gleeson in conversation with Irish Times journalist Hugh Linehan tackling questions of whether we’re experiencing a ‘golden age’ of Irish writing. Let’s say there was mixed consensus.
