Claire Keegan in Conversation

Claire Keegan’s prose has been described as exquisite, elegant and economical. Her novels are beautiful, jewel-like, perfect. Translated into 35 languages, Keegan has won many prestigious awards, including the Rooney Prize, Edge Hill Prize, Davy Byrnes Award and she has been shortlisted for the Rathbones Folio and the Booker prizes.  At a time when Ireland is awash with outstanding writing talent, she has been described by The Washington Post as one of “Ireland’s best writers” and we are thrilled to welcome her to Dalkey for the first time.
