Marion McKeone is an award-winning journalist, broadcaster, writer,and documentary maker. As the Business Post’s US Correspondent, she’s a regular contributor to RTE Radio, BBC Radio, and Virgin Media TV. She features weekly on the popular US Round-Up slot on Today FM and co -resents the podcast Irishman Abroad . She has covered the US for over fifteen years and has written for the New York Times, the London Times, US News and World Report, the Guardian, the Irish Independent and the Irish Times. In the US she has been a contributor for National Public Radio (NPR) and MSNBC. Between 2011 and 2016, she worked as the director of media, advocacy, and communications for Save the Children and as a consultant on projects with UNHCR and UNICEF. She was part of the Senior Management Teams that headed the emergency responses to the famine in Somalia and the ongoing crisis in Syria. She received the NewsBrands Best Foreign Reporting award in 2020 and 2021 for her coverage of the US 2020 election, the coronavirus pandemic, the racial justice protests of 2020, and the January 6th attacks.
