Biography
Lea Ypi is a professor of Political Theory at the London School of Economics. Her first trade book, Free: Coming of Age at the End of History about growing up in Albania, is a philosophical memoir about growing up in communist Albania and the transition to liberalism. It was shortlisted for the Baillie Gifford Prize and the Costa Biography Award and won the Slightly Foxed Best First Biography Prize. It is being translated into 19 languages.
