Biography

Orla Doherty is a comedy writer from Dublin and is based in Prague. She has written for national newspapers and has a lively blog, describing her very colourful life and adventures. She is launching a podcast with Maria McKenzie, aka No Spring Chicken, called ‘No is a Full Sentence’ in early spring of 2024. Her memoir, ‘I’m not Bipolar – I’m Irish’, is set to be published in 2024. She and Val Troy as ChatterBoxx, produce comedy shows for the Irish Chapter of Funny Women.
