Sir Simon Schama is Contributing Editor of the Financial Times and University Professor of Art History and History at Columbia University. He is the author of 19 books and the writer-presenter of 50 documentaries on art, history and literature for BBC2. At present, he is working on Foreign Bodies, his twentieth publication, and in a new BBC series titled Brave New World.
