Katy Derbyshire

Katy Derbyshire is a translator, editor and writer based in Berlin. She translates contemporary German writers including Judith Hermann and Inka Parei. Twice nominated for the International Booker Prize for novels by Clemens Meyer, she won the Straelen Translation Award for her life's work in 2018. Katy is the publisher of V&Q Books and co-hosts a monthly translation lab and the Dead Ladies Show live format and podcast.
